Display name and business profile
The display name and photo are the first thing a customer sees. On official numbers, Meta reviews the display name before showing it.
Official API numbers
- The display name goes through Meta's review and may take some time to appear.
- The profile photo usually updates within minutes.
- In Veylo you edit both from the channel's profile screen.
QR Code numbers
Numbers connected by QR Code keep living in the WhatsApp Business app; their name and photo are changed in the app on the phone, under Settings → Business profile.
